Description

Before capturing the Rosetta on my 2 blissfully cold nights last weekend, I spent the time to capture roughly 3 hours of M42. I am considerably blown away at this camera and what its delivering. It makes the hobby seem effortless. (which we know is absolutely not!)

If I get the chance on a moonless night again, I ll consider either doing this again with either my mono camera, or enhance this picture with longer exposures. I felt I may have been pushing it with 60s exposures but I think for the surrounding nebula it did a good job.

If you are interested, the first shot of M42 is in my gallery, and I think the "then to now" pic is a testament to how much you can learn and refine your technique in and getting to grips with the tools you have. Enjoy!
